1947 Yılında Isparta Sütçüler ilçesi Çandır köyünde doğdum. Meslek Yüksek Okulu inşaat teknikerliğinden sonra Ankara Devlet Su işleri Genel Müdürlüğü, Isparta Bölge Müdürlüğü ve Antalya Bölge Müdürlüklerinde teknik ressamlık ve grafikerliği birlikte yürüttüm. Resimle olan birlikteliğim 1970 yılından beri devam etmektedir. Resim yapmayı kendime bir yaşam biçimi olarak seçtim. Resimlerimde ana tema doğa-insan ilişkileri üzerine yoğunlaştırdım. Doğanın her sanatçıya sonsuz esin ve estetik değerler sunduğuna inanıyorum. Doğa temasını kendime resim tarzı  olarak benimsedim. Resimlerimde kimi vakit doğanın suskunluğunu, kimi vakitte coşkusunu renkçi bir anlayışla, gizemli fakat dingin veya coşkulu bir atmosfer ve karanlığı bilmeyen sonsuz bir güzellik ve gerçeküstü değerlere sığınmadan, soyutun evrensel soluğunun bilincinde, coşkulu ama içe dönük bir sevginin varlığını yakalayarak değişik tat ve hazları tuvalime aktarmaya çalıştım. 36 yıllık sanat yaşamımda ülke çapında yapılan Mimar Sinan Üniversitesi’nin düzenlemiş olduğu grafik ve plastik sanatlar dalında ödül ve mansiyonlarım var. Halen Antalya Sanatçılar Derneği (ANSAN) da plastik sanatlar komisyon üyesi ve  Güzel Sanatlar Derneği (GÜSAD) üyesiyim. 17 kişisel sergim ve 30'u aşkın karma sergim oluştu. Sanat yaşamımı Antalya’da kendi atölyemde sürdürmekteyim.
